Settlement and Integration Service Delivery Committee (SISDC)

Purpose

SISDC consists of direct service agencies leadership who meet quarterly with IRCC to address operational and administrative issues in federal settlement and integration programs, focusing on service delivery challenges and best practices.

Mandate

To examine administrative processes, funding procedures, and delivery issues within IRCC-funded programs, and to strengthen service quality and operational efficiency.

Relationship to Governance Structure

SISDC works closely with SIPPC and NSIC, providing operational insight that informs discussions. SISDC has two active working groups, the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Working Group and a Joint SIPPC-SISDC Health of the Sector Working Group.

Quarterly Highlights

Committee members compiled and submitted 11 Recommendations regarding non-financial supports for the sector. The sector co-chair presented prioritized sections to DG Ifill, DG McQueen and ADM Scott in Ottawa
At the sector members’ request, IRCC Policy and Operation leads shared presentations and gathered  feedback from SISDC on CER implementation, Indirect Service priorities, Cost per Client and NAARS transformation
The IRCC and Sector Co-chairs of the SISDC Working Groups shared highlights from the Year one reports of the Health of the Sector WG and the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity WG in the June meeting
