Health of the Sector (HOTS) Working Group

Purpose

Enhance the resilience of IRCC-funded SPOs and strengthen the overall health of the settlement sector

Mandate

The working group is dedicated to understanding and improving the overall health of the sector, including fortifying organizational retention, recruitment, professional development and mental wellness of employees of IRCC-funded service provider organizations (SPOs).

Relationship to Governance Structure

The HOTS working group is a joint initiative that includes both SISDC and SIPPC members, and reports and submits recommendations to SISDC on workforce and organizational health issues affecting sector sustainability.
